Hoteles Poseidon is a brand name of Hoteles Devesa S.L.U., a company which owns and operates the Hotels Poseidon, Poseidon Palace and Poseidon Playa in Benidorm together with the Hotel Playas de Guardamar in Guardamar del Segura.

The company was born after a long family experience in the local hostelry business of Benidorm dating from 1928 when the grandfather of the present Managing Director opened a bar in the town. Later,the family ran a Pension until in 1973 the brothers Domingo, Pere Joan and sister Josefa inaugurated the first Hotel Poseidon. During the 90's the Poseidon Palace and the Poseidon Playa were added.

At the end of the millennium the company looked to the interior of the province of Alicante and built the  charming Hotel Alahuar, situated in the mountains at Benimaurell, Vall de Laguar.

In  2007 the Hotel La Estacion  **** in Benidorm followed and more recently in February 2011 the company re-opened the 4 star Villa de Biar in the historic and picturesque town of Biar (Alicante) after 3 months of renovation works and having obtained the concession of  the said Town Council for 30 years.

Today the Poseidon Group controls 1469 rooms, about 3100 hotelbeds, and has a staff of  360 in Benidorm, Guardamar, Benimaurell, Vall de Laguar and Biar.
